1. What inspired you to become a dj?

I got into techno in the early internet days, but attending Detroit’s Movement festival captivated me to the sound. I later joined a music collective in college (MEMCO) that got me djing + throwing parties every weekend.

The true inspiration is being able to connect communities + expand a person’s cognition through music~

2. Describe what it feels like for you when you’re “in the zone” ?

When I’m in the zone, I feel calm yet invigorated. The sound flows freely and surpasses my conscious + physical state. My muscle memory is doing all the work. It’s like putting yourself in a trance...

3. What’s your dream lineup / blunt rotation?

My dream lineup would be all my cool talented dj friends playing alongside my favorite legends across Detroit, Chicago, and Miami >:)

4. Upcoming events/ projects /shows?

Saturday June 10: Tec-troit! Free + all ages :)
followed by House of Fun @ Temple Bar w/ one of my favs Tammy Lakkis at night <3

July 1: Miami house party debut @ the Ass Party >:)

I also plan to release a solo EP/LP this year on bandcamp to flush out tracks I’ve been sitting on (new+old)
