Aaron Bogart is the founder of Floating Opera Press, a Detroit and Berlin-based occasional imprint that published contemporary criticism and artists’ books. In 2021, Floating Opera Press started publishing the Critic’s Essay Series. Comprising long-form essays, the series gives voice to critics who offer thought-provoking ways in which to subvert or replace normative modes of discussing culture and the world beyond. He holds a 2006 - 2010 Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy at the University of Sheffield.
