Juan Diego (Guadalajara, México 1994)
His work revolves around several subjects that can go from exploring internet subcultures, making a character and get involved with a particular community (as to show the mutation of our identity through social media), to creating a series of fantasy drawings about personal archetypes that come from the subconscious. His practice is mostly defined by the development of metanarratives that surround the pieces, making this through the oscillation and mixture between plastic and digital mediums. Recently he participated in a collective show in Detroit curated by Lydya Kuzak named I Saw Something in the Fields and participated in various exhibitions in latin america and other parts of United States.
