• WELCOME TO RUNNER MAGAZINE

Lydia Kuzak is a multimedia artist currently studying Digital Art at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her practice spans many mediums but she focuses on sculpture, video, photography, and fabrics. She’s inspired by folklore and finds there to be profound value to its legacy in the contemporary artworld. This is because stories have great influence on the human psyche, going so far as to act as a guide to process our deepest fears and dreams. Through this process, the blackest abyss of space becomes beautiful, the deepest ocean depth becomes righteous, and the most despairing witch is romanticized.
