Nicholas Polisuk (b.1989, Detroit, MI) is an artist whose practice is concerned with the preservation of print media. Their recent work has focused on assembling two-dimensional collage works from collected print and digital materials. Nicholas spent his formative years attending art and craft classes at the College for Creative Studies (Detroit) and Greenfield Village (Dearborn), while attending Catholic parochial schools. Later, they studied photography at Wayne State University and CCS. They currently reside in the suburbs of Detroit with their file cabinets of prints, and residual Catholic guilt. There they continue to create, collect, and consume art.
