Valerie Salerno is a poet and musician based in Detroit, Michigan. Her work appears in Display Magazine and in an episode of the podcast Cult of Personality. She was a writing fellow at the Pierce Cedar Creek Nature Preserve in 2022. She won the English department creative writing scholarship at GRCC. She read for a Gnashing Teeth Publishing reading and for General Things Readings at Cafe Moustache, Chicago in April 2024.
