Wyatt Thiry was raised in Milan Michigan and currently lives and works in Detroit as studio technician / resident artist at Michigan Hot Glass. He is projected to graduate from Wayne State University in 2025 with a BFA concentration in metalsmithing with minors in blacksmithing and art history. Wyatt is cofounder and communications manager of the curatorial team Site Works with Nolan Young and Asia Dobbins. Free improvised music, barn painting, newsprint cartoons, and Basque folklore are congruent in the method of his work.
